Work inspection report (WIR)
A work inspection report confirms that a piece of work is complete and matches the approved design. Once accepted by the consultant it supports the claim for that work in the next interim payment application.
Where you meet it
Read the document control guide. SupaJack Construct requires the WIR form, a marked-up drawing and site photos before a WIR is raised, and claims it by percentage complete. Related: material inspection report and payment certificate.
Why it matters
Claiming more than the inspection supports invites the consultant to cut the certificate, so the percentage claimed should match the accepted inspection.
